Lunar Observance Day occurs on full, new, and half moon days. In monasteries around the world practitioners sit through the night, following the taking of the Refuges & Precepts and listening to Dhamma. The monastic communities renew and recite their precepts on full and new moon days. At Aloka Vihara we sit until midnight, have a Dhamma sharing and there will be an opportunity to take the Refuges and Precepts. You are invited to stay as long as you wish.
