On Wan Phra* (lunar observance days) at the vihara, we will sit until midnight, have Dhamma sharing and there will be an opportunity to take the Refuges and Precepts.
*Wan Phra is the Thai name for the traditional Buddhist observance days which fall according to the lunar cycle. Wan Phra occurs on full, new, and half moon days, and in monasteries around the world practitioners sit through the night following the taking of the Refuges & Precepts and listening to Dhamma. The monastic communities renew and recite their vows on full and new moon days.
