On the first Saturday of each month, Ayya Anandabodhi and Donna Olson will be leading chanting workshops at Aloka Vihara from 2 - 4pm in the shrine room.

During each workshop, Donna, who is a voice trainer and opera singer, will offer exercises and guidance in developing our voice and connecting our breath with the chanting. Ayya Anandabodhi will offer guidance on how to pronounce the Pali chanting and use the tonal system of the traditional chanting used at Aloka Vihara. We aim to learn one chant each month, both in Pali and English.

Those participating are welcome to stay on for tea and discussion after the workshop. No registration is required and all are welcome.

At each workshop, recordings will be made and posted on this page [see below] along with the page number in the Chanting Book we use.
